सूनी सूनी थी फिज़ां
मैने यूं ही
उसके बालों में गुन्थी
खामोशियों को छू लिया

वो मुडी
थोडा हंसी
मैं भी हंसा

फिर हमारे साथ
नदिया, वादियां, कोषार, बादल,
फूल, कोंपल, शहर, जंगल
सब के सब हंसने लगे

फिर मोहल्ले में
किसी घर के
किसी कोने की
छोटी सी हंसी ने
दूर तक फैली हुई
दुनिया को रौशन कर दिया है

ज़िन्दगी में
ज़िन्दगी का रंग
फिर से भर दिया है
