Movie Reviews

Doston,

A good site for having movie reviews.....

http://www.withoutgivingthemovieaway.com/reviews/

My favorite movie critics are Rajeev Masand(CNN IBN) and Nikhat Kazmi(Times of India). For most of the movies, their reviews are available on this site. I have learnt that Rajeev is an IIM-A passout and has turned into a movie critic for his interest in the subject. Just recalling another IIMian Harsha Bhogle at this juncture.

I find it always awarding to first see the ratings and then go for any movie. But dont know why majority of people just go and sit in the movie hall and then come out blasting the movie like anything if it is not good. It was their choice to go for it like this, ultimately.

Meanwhile, in the recent times I liked movies Black Friday and Parjania very much.

From Reviews:

"This week I watched Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday, a film about the 1993 serial bomb blasts in Mumbai and I've decided it's one of the best films I've watched in recent years."

"For at least a few days after I attended a screening of Parzania, I couldn't stop talking about the film to everyone I met.

It's not the greatest film I've seen, it's not the kind of film I could watch over and over again. And yet, it's a film I'll recommend to as many people as I can."
